When these experiences happen, emotions are generated that are meant to be fully processed at the time the trauma occurs. But since many of us were raised to not feel our feelings, we suppress those emotions instead. And when we do that they become stuck energy inside our mind, body, + spirit, affecting all parts of our life until we wake up + realize…
We need healing.
While there are many paths to healing, I’m going to share with you 6 techniques that have personally helped me heal some of my deepest issues. These healing modalities for past traumas are also not a one and done practice. These are meant to be completed over and over until you begin to find relief or experience a shift in your perspective.
Because you will also be releasing blocked negative energy you may also feel like a weight has suddenly been lifted off your shoulders. This is healing in action!

6 Ways To Heal Past Traumas & Release Blocked Negative Energy
EMOTIONAL DETOX
This healing technique involves forgiveness and acceptance of self. An emotional detox also helps you find the root cause of the trauma and give gratitude for what it has taught you. Then it helps you release the trauma from your energy field so that it no longer controls your thoughts, emotions, words, or actions throughout the rest of your life.

SHADOW WORK
Shadow work is the process of healing by looking at your “shadow self.” We all have a shadow that houses the not so awesome parts of ourselves, the
parts that we avoid or deny. It is when we can face that shadow part of us that we can really make leaps and bound in our growth journey.

HEALING YOUR INNER CHILD
Most of the past traumas we experience happen when we are children. We carry those traumatic experiences AND our wounded inner child with us into adulthood. This can cause a plethora of problems for us like guilt, shame, trust issues, fear of abandonment, and toxic self-sabotaging behaviors.

Healing your inner child is the process of visualizing your inner child and speaking to her/him lovingly with the words you needed to hear as a kid. This heals the wounded inner child while also healing the trauma experienced as a child and releasing the negative blocked energy.

BURNING CEREMONY UNDER A FULL MOON
A burning ceremony is a process of writing a list or letter of things you need to release then burning it under a full moon. The energy of the full moon powers up your intentions and helps you move forward.

CHAKRA HEALING
Chakras are a system of dense energy that runs through our bodies from our bottom to the crown of our head. When negative energy gets blocked in our chakras, it creates an imbalance within the chakra that then can cause a multitude of problems, like stress, anxiety, and even chronic illness.
