Getting some anxiety relief can be quick and easy.
I am no stranger to anxiety. In fact, I struggled with it for years. My anxiety was so severe at times that it would result in paralysis in my arms and hands. Just thinking about that makes me cringe a bit but I’m happy to say that I am no longer a victim to these anxiety symptoms.
That’s right, I kicked my anxiety to the curb and although it tries to creep up on me from time to time, it no longer controls my life as it used too. And today I want to share some anxiety relief tips with you so you can overcome it too.
Here’s the thing about anxiety, it forces you to worship your problems.
It also takes you away from the present moment. When you are anxious, you are mostly living in the past or the future and the present moment is just passing you by. Anxiety is also super sneaky. It can show up at any given moment and sometimes for no darn reason at all. It’s a real pain in the ass, to say the least.
But anxiety doesn’t have to control you and you can beat this thing.
Here are a few tips from me to you, because you are filled with magic and it’s time to take your power back!
Get your body moving for quick and fast anxiety relief
Anxiety is mostly pent up energy that needs to get released or flowing again. Add some movement to your daily routine, especially when you’re right in the middle of an anxiety attack. Take a walk or run, jump on a trampoline, or have a dance party which is my go-to for anxiety relief.

These activities will get your blood pumping and energy flowing again. DO NOT sit still or lay down during an anxiety attack. This keeps your energy stagnant and it will not help you.
Practice Mindfulness and Meditation for long lasting anxiety relief
I love, love, love meditation. Trust me when I say it works wonders. Our thoughts are often what trigger our anxiety. Meditation will help you clear your mind and ease all those anxious thoughts. If you are new to meditation, try guided meditation apps like Headspace or Insight Timer.
Did I mention I love meditation? LOL Ok moving on to mindfulness.
Mindfulness is basically paying attention to each moment of your life on purpose. Most of the time we live life on autopilot, just going through the motions and not paying attention to what is happening all around us. But when you can learn to be mindful, you stay grounded in the present moment where past regrets and future fears cannot exist.
Start paying attention more to the present, this will work wonders for you in the fight against anxiety.
